Crown Prince urges foundation to network with pro-youth players

HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Wednesday  encouraged improving the work of the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), whose mandate is to develop the capabilities and skills of young people in Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During a meeting with CPF Chairman Fawaz Zu'bi and members of the foundation’s board of trustees, the Crown Prince  spoke of the need for Jordanian youth to be active citizens, by deepening their sense of belonging, and nurturing  an ethos of teamwork and voluntary work.

The meeting also covered the CPF's strategy and future plans, with Crown Prince Hussein stressing the importance of cooperating with different institutions and societies to achieve the foundation's goals.

For his part, Zu’bi said that the board members will use their expertise and experiences to achieve the foundation’s goals and interact with all youth sectors in Jordan, through  various programmes and partnerships.

CPF’s CEO Omar Masarweh briefed the Crown Prince on the current situation, as well as future strategies of the foundation, outlining projects on the drawing board.

The CPF, one of several initiatives launched by the Crown Prince to engage youth in constructive activism and promote their rights, aims to improve the living conditions of young people in Jordan by providing opportunities to nurture their skills.
