Deputising for King, Crown Prince receives speaker of Korean National Assembly
Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II received on Thursday the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Moon Hee-sang.
At the meeting, discussions covered the strong ties between the two countries and keenness to strengthen them further.
Opportunities for enhancing cooperation in economy, investment, education, culture and parliamentary work were also reviewed.
Crown Prince Al Hussein expressed Jordan's appreciation for South Korea's continuous support to Jordan’s economy and development, describing the Republic of Korea as an important partner in the implementation of development projects, especially in the energy sector.
For his part, Speaker Moon stressed his country's keenness to enhance cooperation with Jordan, expressing appreciation for the important Jordanian role, under the leadership of King Abdullah, in achieving global and regional peace and stability.
