Crown Prince visits Foreign Ministry

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, on Monday, visited the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, and was briefed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Nasser Judeh, on the latest developments in the region and the world and Jordan's efforts in dealing with them, in the framework of the effective Jordanian diplomacy, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

The Crown Prince was also briefed on the ministry's workflow on following up on implementing UN Security Council resolution 2250, which was issued upon Prince Al Hussein's initiative on the youth role in promoting peace and countering extremism.

Prince Hussein voiced pride in efforts of the ministry's staff as well as diplomatic efforts they exert to serve the nation and citizens, especially Jordanian youth around the world.

During the meeting, which dealt with the latest developments in the region, Judeh highlighted Jordan's diplomatic efforts on various issues and challenges facing the Middle East, within a strategic perspective that serves efforts to achieve peace and enhance security and stability in the region.

The minister also briefed the Crown Prince on steps taken to implement the directives of His Majesty the King to the government in the Letter of Designation to enhance Jordan's prestige in the world.

During another meeting with ambassadors and directors of departments in the ministry, the Crown Prince was briefed about the role played by Jordanian diplomatic missions around the world, in achieving the goals of the Jordanian foreign policy, protecting and preserving national interests, strengthen the role of the Kingdom and its position regionally and internationally, serving Jordanian expatriates and communicating with them.
